Deep in the Heart of Texas
(No one's inundanted me with "Hey! You promised us Chapter Two of Wicked Break on May 1st! Where is it?" emails - so I won't apologize for being late with this month's update.)
Stranger in a strange land. That's me. After ten years of living at altitude in the Rocky Mountains, we packed our bags and moved down to Texas. Super Wife was offered a promotion with her company, which is a good thing for two reasons: one, she's been rewarded for a job well done; and, two, I don't have to start looking for a job anytime soon and get to keep pretending to be a writer. Everybody wins. So now we're living just outside of Dallas and I have a big, giant new state to start hassling about Wicked Break. If you're reading this and live near Dallas or anywhere in Texas for that matter, shoot me an email and tell me about the bookstores in your area.
Many of you did email with lots of nice things to say about Chapter One of Wicked Break. I truly appreciate that. You never know what you've got until the people that aren't related to you or aren't in your debt start sending you their comments. I'm relieved to hear that Noah is still being held in high regard.
As a reward - here's Chapter Two. And tell a friend. And keep an eye on the schedule here -- I'll be updating with signings and appearances soon.
P.S. If you haven't checked out the blog, do that, too
