Thanks-giving

November. The month of Thanksgiving. I've had a lot to be grateful for over the last few months -- it's been a bit of a whirlwind ride and there are a lot of things/people I'm thankful for. So….

• I'm thankful to all the libraries that have put my book in their collections.
• I'm thankful to all the bookstores that have not only carried my book, but told their customers about it.
• I'm thankful that a new season of Punk'd has finally started.
• I'm thankful that I've been able to visit San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, San Francisco, El Paso, Omaha, Chicago, Taos and Wilmington in the past few months.
• I'm thankful that gas prices are finally dropping.
• I'm thankful that I hired the greatest webmaster who's ever lived.
• I'm thankful for all the support the people at Dutton have given me.
• I'm thankful that such a tremendous agent wanted to take me on as a client.
• I'm thankful to the folks in my writer's group for making sure my head still fits thru the doorway.
• I'm thankful for all the new friends I've made this year.
• I'm thankful that the Padres won the NL West even if they did stink it up in the playoffs.
• I'm thankful that all the revisions are finally done on the second book.
• I'm thankful that we haven't had a horrific snowstorm in Colorado yet this season. (I know…it's coming…)
• I'm thankful that my daughter makes me laugh at least once an hour.
• And finally - I'm thankful to all the family and friends that have come out and supported Killer Swell and the guy who wrote it - none of this would have happened without each and everyone of you - thank you isn't enough, but, at the moment, it's all I've got…
